Well No. 5 City of Rincon

Scope & Overview

We completed a major project involving the development of a 1500 gallons per minute (GPM) deep water well facility. The well had been drilled 11 years prior to the completion of this extensive project, showcasing Pinco’s long-term commitment to enhancing its water supply infrastructure.

The development of the deep water well facility encompassed a wide range of critical components to ensure a fully functional and efficient water supply system. The key elements of the project included:

Site Work

Comprehensive site preparation was conducted to support the new well facility, ensuring a stable and suitable foundation for all subsequent installations.

Electrical Systems:

State-of-the-art electrical systems were installed to power the facility, including connections for the pump and motor, as well as other essential equipment.

Chemical Feed System:

A chemical feed system was implemented to ensure the proper treatment and conditioning of the water, maintaining quality standards and safety.

Instrumentation & Monitoring:

Advanced instrumentation and monitoring systems were put in place to ensure precise control and continuous oversight of the well’s operations, enhancing both efficiency and safety.

Piping and Water-Main Installation:

Extensive piping networks were laid down to connect the well to the main water supply system. This included the installation of a new water-main to facilitate the efficient transport of water.

Pump & Motor:

A high-capacity pump and motor were installed to handle the well’s 1500 GPM output, ensuring reliable and consistent water flow.

Stand-By Power:

To guarantee uninterrupted operation, a stand-by power system was integrated, providing backup power in case of electrical outages.

Building and Paving:

A dedicated building was constructed to house the well’s operational components, and the surrounding area was paved to facilitate easy access and maintenance.
